7 Fields of activities CounsellingTalent identificationTalent care-giving -offering services through workplace interactions; -organising consultations (professional questions in focus) -advise can be asked by: sts., parents, teachers -offering assistance in compiling special learning material Task: identifying giftedness -introducing diagnostic methods-which can be used by teachers without special psychological training- for the deeper understanding of their sts. -carrying out investigation and analysis when required (by parent, teacher etc.) -psychological tests if needed -diagnostic tests (in connection with different abilities: creativity, motivation etc.) -personality and uneasiness exams -clarifying the talent concept (among parents and teachers) -improving the awareness of the importance of teachers in talent developing -introducing effective learning/teaching strategies (lectures, consultations, publications) -identifying methods of talent care-giving -assistance in planning the methodology of developing programmes -giving information -methological assistance for gifted sts. whose performance is lower than expected -organising professional camps
