4 4 RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS FROM PREVIOUS PRESENTATION Performance Management Signed Performance Agreements (PAs) are due on 30 June 2008. current status sms - received 40 out of 150 Non sms – received 2004 out of 12 546 -A report will be presented in the next cycle of reporting. Staff Retention The department is working closely with the DPSA Task Team on Occupational Specific Dispensation that will deliver appropriate salary structures for professionals The Water and Forestry Learning Academy represents the departments long-term strategy to ensure a reliable skills base and human resource pipeline in line with JIPSA and ASGISA In compliance with the Public Service Act all new officials serve the mandatory twelve (12) months probationary period.
