16.  1. Choose American artist for inspiration  2. Create and print a word document that includes-  Artists Name  Date lived (1927-1999)  Any other important information about artist (technique, style, media…)  A picture/pictures of examples of the artists work  Title of the work of art

17.  Create a work of art that includes your name as the subject of the work  Use the style or technique of the artist you have chosen to complete the work.  Size must be 9” x 12”-12” x 18”  Media may be: pencil, watercolor, tempera or collage  Teacher must “okay” your idea before you begin  3-5 class periods are allotted for this project to be completed
