4 Examining Your Values Your values influence the goals you set. A value is an important belief. Think about your values when you set goals. Your personal values develop over time and are based on your experiences. Not everyone has the same values, although there are some values most people believe in. Setting Healthy Goals

5 Defining Your Interests You also have interests. An interest is something that you enjoy and want to learn more about. You can have an interest in things such as art, athletics, music, or science.
