We are about to do a personality survey called True Colors. True Colors is a fun way to see the personality differences of others and how yours may differ.

As a Pack Hour – you will take the True Colors Personality survey Discover the qualities and characteristics of their own particular personality style Gain an understanding of other personality styles. Each person is a unique blend of the four colors or styles—a spectrum. There are no bad or good colors. There are wide individual variations within each color spectrum

At your tables – each person will take a True Colors inventory. You will label each horizontal line with the following: 4 – most like you, 3 - second most like you, 2 – third most like you & 1 – least like you Place Vertically total each column

Each column corresponds to a color - Orange Gold Blue Green What do these mean? Each color corresponds how we communicate & how other may perceive your style of communication.

These questions are all part of determining who we are as a school community. Each person has their strengths, weaknesses, likes and pet peeves. Blues – emotional, takes everything to heart Gold – Organized, likes things to be a certain way & loyal Green – Curious, tinkers & determined Orange – Active, daring & spontaneous

Ask the questions: Is there a score that is clearly higher than the rest? Do you have 2 colors that are close in total scores? Do any of these describe my personality?

Spend 3-4 minutes brainstorming words, phrases that help you describe your personality, how you handle relationships & what you value? As a group (color), review the responses of each group. Discuss which color you best work with and explain why? As a group, Discuss which color you least like to work with and briefly explain why?
