2. What you will be doing: 1. Choose one of the California missions 2. Find at least 3 websites with relevant information on your chosen mission 3. Fill out a pre-made chart with all of the necessary information about your mission 4. Put your findings into a power point presentation 5. Customize your power point presentation 6. Give a 2-3 minute presentation sharing your power point

3. Timeline: Week 1: Choose mission, find websites, and fill out chart with information found on the internet Week 2: Finish research and put all content onto PowerPoint in an organized format Week 3: Customize PowerPoint presentations Week 4: Peer review and oral presentations

Research Information: After you have chosen your mission you will need to do some internet research You will need to follow the format I am giving you to organize the information in your power point, each slide will be a different topic You do not need to answer all the questions I have provided, they are just to give you ideas for each topic Once all your information is included, be creative with your project You need to have a minimum of 4 pictures but you can have as many as you would like You can include music, videos, or anything else you would like that is relevant to your mission

7. Slide 3 Interesting Facts ◦ Any unique facts to include? ◦ Are there any interesting stories about the mission? ◦ What did you find interesting about it? ◦ Any other relevant information

8. Slide 4 Daily Life ◦ Who lived on the mission? ◦ What was the daily routine like? ◦ Who was responsible for what on the mission? ◦ Who went to church services? ◦ Any other relevant information

9. Slide 5 Problems or Issues ◦ Was the mission ever rebuilt? ◦ Was it ever destroyed by fire, earthquake, or other natural disaster? ◦ Were there any scandals involved with the mission? ◦ Any other relevant information

10. Slide 6 The Mission Today ◦ What does the mission look like today? ◦ Is it much different than it was when it was built? ◦ Is the church used for services today? ◦ Are tourists allowed? ◦ Are there any artifacts? ◦ Any other relevant information

11. Slide 7 Bibliography ◦ You must include at least 3 internet sites that you used to research your mission ◦ If you used any other sources, such as books, be sure to include them as well

12. Oral Presentation: You will need to give a 2 minute presentation telling us all about the California mission you chose You will share your PowerPoint presentation with the class as you tell about your mission
