3 AICE Diploma The AICE courses can lead to a Cambridge AICE Diploma
The AICE Diploma can lead to a Florida Academic Bright Futures Scholarship ACT/SAT test scores and GPA requirements are waived Students must earn 100 hours of community service

4 Do colleges and universities accept AICE courses and the AICE Diploma?
All Florida Universities award college credit for AICE courses just as they do for AP. Over 450 US universities accept AS and A Level courses including all Ivy League and Ivy Plus universities.

5 AICE Academy Goal: An AICE Diploma
Advanced International Certificate of Education Study and exams at Cambridge AS and A Levels Subjects from five curricular areas Mathematics and Science Languages Arts and Humanities CORE: Global Perspectives AS Level Interdisciplinary and Skills Based

6 What do students have to do to earn an AICE Diploma?
Students must pass the AICE exams to earn points to get the diploma. Obtain at least 7 credits within 25 months Obtain at least 1 credit in each of 3 main curriculum groups Earn 1 credit of AS Global Perspectives Apply to Cambridge for the AICE Diploma senior year

10th Grade English 2 Honors **AICE Marine (Grade 10 or 11) **AICE European History Pre-AICE French II or Pre-AICE Spanish II, Pre-AICE Spanish III AICE Thinking Skills (Elective) AICE General Paper (Elective) AICE Sociology (Elective) 2 AICE Course Required 11th Grade **AICE English Language AICE Spanish Language or Pre-AICE French III AICE Media Studies (Elective) 2 or 3 AICE Courses Required 12th Grade **AICE Global Perspectives AS or A Level (A Level qualifications are worth two diploma credits) AICE Spanish Language AICE General Paper (Elective) 2 or 3 AICE Courses Required Important Note: ** Mandatory courses to obtain AICE Diploma

9 What is the difference between Pre-AICE/IGCSE and AICE?
9th grade: students may take Pre-AICE classes. The purpose of Pre-AICE is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in future advanced studies courses. (Ex. Pre-AICE Spanish prepares students to take AP/AICE Spanish courses) 10th, 11th and 12th grade: students can participate in AICE classes even though they may not wish to earn the diploma. *IGCSE: International General Certificate of Secondary Education *AICE: Advanced International Certificate of Education
