4 Introduction to the Portal  You can get to the Portal from the University Home pagePortal  Login with your student ID and your Network password  Login this way gives you automatic devolved authentication …in other words you won’t need to use your personal Athens user name and password ever again.

5 Getting access to Resources Log in here B001234567 ******** An A-Z list of all Databases is available here – remember you are already authenticated for any Athens controlled database This link will take you to the Library homepage.

13 Registering for Refworks  Register at a University of Ulster networked computer  Login via the University Portal  Select Learning Resources tab  See Library databases on the left hand side of the screen  Scroll down and click on R and then on Refworks Enhanced  You can now register  You must give your name  You must give your university B number  You must give your network password  You must give your university email address
