The 3150 and the 4010 are great economical dampers. We have used the same little synchronous motor for more than 10 years. It is great for light duty flow control. If it needs to be replaced it the job of 3 minutes to change it out. The motor shaft slips into a declivity on the shaft. Unbolt the old one slip a new one in and you are done. The damper itself does not have to be uninstalled.

The TF Series dampers feature the Belimo TF motor. This workhorse twist up to 17 in-lbs of torque. Nearly 10 times what the synchronous motor can put out. Its brushless construction makes it tremendously robust. This is the unit to use for dampers that are bigger or that will be subject to higher load conditions.

RDTF is a damper you can bank on. Everything with a Belimo motor carries a 5 yr warranty.
The TF features an internal spring so it is perfect for anything where you need to get the damper back to the “at rest” position on failure. Typically zone dampers should fail open. When the power goes out you probably want the Outside air dampers to automatically close.

Motorized Ceiling Diffusers are a natural extension of our damper product line. The cover has been removed in this picture so you can see the plaque. Specify grid dimension and throat size.
Controlling airflow right at the diffuser can be tricky because any air noise will be transmitted into the room. A damper at the end of the hard pipe may be a quieter solution.
The Coanda Effect is the tendency for the air to sort of “Stick” to a surface. Good ceiling diffusers are designed to maintain the coanda effect along the ceiling, thus better mixing the air throughout the space.
