2. Objective To give teachers the tools they need to learn a foreign language and to be able to communicate with students and their families in languages other than English.

3. -Introductions-Icebreaker -Take a photo of yourself with the webcam and save it on the desktop.

4. www.livemocha.com Go to www.livemocha.comwww.livemocha.com Click “Register” Select a username and fill in the requested information. Select your languages and skill levels. Click “Register”

6. Check the email address you registered to find the link and click on it. Select your gender and reason for learning a new language. Upload the picture you took earlier as your profile image. (Browse, Desktop, Select the picture). Click “Continue”.

8. On the next page (2 of 3) click “Skip this step”.

9. Select your level (101-202) where it says “Try any course for free”.

10. Spend about 15 minutes practicing the “Learn” tab, which includes courses, flashcards, and extra practice. Please don’t do submissions at this time.

11. Click the “Share” tab. Select two submissions to evaluate, one written and one speaking. Press the play button for the speaking activity. Enter your review and comments. Press the “Add audio comment” icon, “Start Recording” and record your message to the speaker by speaking into your webcam. Click “Done”
