Was in the Democrat Republicans and against Hamilton’s federalists. Was for small businesses and farmers. Died July 4,1826

5. James Madison Was in office from 1809-1817 Was president when the War of 1812 happened. Because they drawn the war after so long, they got respect from all of Europe. This is because Great Britain was the most powerful nation in the world at that time and if they could tie them in a war they must be pretty powerful themselves. Died June 28, 1836

6. James Monroe Was in office from 1817-1825 Wrote the Monroe Doctrine stating that Europe could not interfere with North America nor South America. Died July 4, 1831
