1 Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Beverages Shipped To/Within Florida

2 New Electronic Reporting The three paper forms representing Beverages Shipped To/Within Florida – Malt Beverages, Wines, Spirituous Beverages - have been combined into one electronic report.* The data entered into the three sections under the Shipment Detail tab will be automatically transferred to the Review & Confirm tab. This last tab allows for a final review before the report is submitted via EDS. * NOTICE: THE "BEVERAGES SHIPPED TO/WITHIN FLORIDA" REPORT IS FOR TRANSACTIONS OF SALES TO DISTRIBUTORS/WHOLESALERS ONLY. IF YOU HAVE DIRECT SALES TO FLORIDA CONSUMERS, CONTINUE REPORTING VIA PAPER.

3 Key Points to Know Electronic reports are also due by the 10 th of each month. It might be necessary to turn off the pop-up blocker. If a license has not already been assigned for an out of state business, contact ABT Help Desk so that one may be created. For malt beverages: –Individual containers of 32 ounces or less shall have imprinted thereon in clearly legible fashion, by any permanent method, the word “Florida” or “FL”, and no other name or abbreviation of any state name, in not less than 8-point type. –Request for exemption must be made by contacting AB&T directly. For wines: –17.26% or more by volume = 14% or more by weight –Less than 17.26% by volume = less than 14% by weight For spirituous beverages: –17.259% by volume = 34.518 proof –55.78% by volume = 111.56 proof

4 Log in with the user id and password provided through the EDS registration process and click on the Login button. If you have not registered, click on the New User? link. If you cannot remember password, click on Forgot Password? Logging Into EDS

5 Click on the needed link under File a New Report. Filing a New Report

6 The General Information tab will auto populate with information provided during the registration process. Red asterisks denote required fields. A Reporting Period month and year must be selected. A selection from the Amended? drop down box is also required. Only if the report gets amended, should “Yes” be selected from the dropdown box. Add the Report Submitted By name, which is the person verifying the submitted information. The Email Address is that of the person submitting the report. The Filer Email address is optional. 7 Helpful Hints Save your report often. This helps guard against data loss and is considered a “best practice”. TIP: If you are going to pause the report activity for more than ten minutes, save the report and close out of EDS altogether. To resume your report, log back in and open the report from the Saved Work link.

8 Shipment Detail Screens Information needed: Name of consignee (buyer) Consignee’s city location Invoice date Invoice number Quantity of product Beer: Report per individual units(cans/bottles). Do not enter per case. Wine & Liquor: Report per volume (gallonage).

9 The Lookup Feature To search for a licensee: Enter the license number and select Lookup. If the license number is not available, a Lookup can be accomplished by typing the licensee’s name in the Name of the Supplier/Purchaser field and selecting Lookup. If there are multiple results, then select the correct one based on address and/or license series number. In the event of zero results, verify the correct license number and name are being used and then contact EDS Support.

11 Shipment Detail Screens - Beer Once the required data is entered, select the Add Transaction button. If all data has been entered correctly, then a message stating, “Successfully added transaction.” will be displayed. If data has been incorrectly entered in the fields at the top of the screen, Clear All will remove the information.

12 Shipment Detail Screens – Imported Wine As transactions are added they are summarized in the lower portion of the screen.

14 Shipment Detail Screens – Liquor If any transaction has been entered incorrectly, each line can be deleted by selecting the red buttons on the right side of the screen. If the deletion is successful, a message will display noting, “ Successfully deleted (beverage type) transaction. ”

15 Review & Confirm All information from the detail screens are automatically brought forward to the Review & Confirm tab. Review & Confirm: Review and confirm that all data is correct Select Print Summary located on the top, right side of the screen

16 Review & Confirm Review & Confirm: Select Save before submitting the report Select Submit Report

17 Review & Confirm A message box will display asking for verification to submit report Select Ok, which creates a date stamp, or Cancel

18 Report Confirmation A confirmation screen will appear verifying the report submission.

19 Viewing Submitted Reports Viewing submitted reports can be done either by navigating to My Reports or Home.

20 Amending Submitted Reports To amend a submitted report, open the needed report. On the General Information tab, change the Amended? field to “Yes” and proceed to make the necessary report changes before saving again and then resubmitting.
