2. 2/19 UNIVERSITY OF ZAGREB FACULTY OF GEODESY 2009-02-05 Mission and Objectives   The NSDI is a set of measurements, standards, specifications and services within the framework of establishing e-government aimed at enabling effective gathering, managing, transfer and usage of georeferenced spatial data   NSDI encompasses the establishment of the following: a metadata system, spatial data sets, spatial data services and networking services and technology. Also it includes: agreements concerning spatial data transfer, access and usage, coordination and monitoring mechanisms, processes and procedures.
