Design & Technology Logos

Everywhere you look.. In our everyday lives we are surrounded by logos and badges, which are colours, words or pictures that represent a particular product or organisation. Can you think of some?
3
Here are some famous ones..
4
Why logos? They are a quick and eye catching way of drawing attention and identifying an object or a brand. They have been developed from heraldry and a time when knights and those on the battlefield needed to identify and recognise what side they were on.
5
Selling more and more… Shop keepers realised that some products sold more than similar ones. The difference was that these packages often had a logo on it that made them instantly recognisable. Companies such as Kellogs Corn Flakes and Coca Cola were the first to develop a clear brand image for their goods.
6
People who help us… Organisations have developed logos, so we can go to them for help quickly.

Lesbians, Gays and Trans… …have also developed their own logos Have you spotted either of these?
