A MAJOR PLAYER IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES The District Heating Network, the most modern and adapted tool to develop renewable energy solutions

| 2 3 BRANDS, 1 GROUP 2 EDF The parent company of Dalkia DALKIA DK Energy The leading provider of energy services in France The brand for the international activities of Dalkia WHO WE ARE

| 3 THE WORLD’S N°1 ELECTRICITY UTILITY € 72.9 billion in sales (55% in France) 38,5 million clients 158,161 employees (inc. subsidiaries, ex. Dalkia) 623,5 TWh Production from: Nuclear:77% Hydro: 8% Other : 15 % €650 million R&D budget 500 major research projects in progress 87% carbon-free production €12.2 billion investments (72% in France) EDF, OUR PARENT COMPANY WHO WE ARE

DALKIA: A MAJOR PLAYER IN FRANCE (Figures from France 2014) €3.1 billion turnover in 2014 4.4 TWh in energy savings Close to 24 % of renewable energy 12,430 employees Over 32 TWh of energy delivered Over 2,4 MT of CO 2 saved WHO WE ARE

| 5 HOW DALKIA/DK ENERGY SERVE ITS CUSTOMERS HEATING AND COOLING NETWORKS 328 district heating and cooling networks 2.4 million heated flats BUILDING ENERGY SERVICES 2,300 healthcare centres 14,000 education buildings ENERGY SERVICES TO INDUSTRY 2,000 industrial sites WHAT WE OFFER

| 6 ADVANTAGES  Offering a competitive heat price during the contract  Increasing renewable energy supplies (biomass, waste recovery, reuse of waste water, recovery of energy from industrial processes, etc.).  "Green" heat from renewable and recovered energy is the most efficient way to produce carbon-free heat for buildings.  Reduction of energy poverty  Creation of local jobs. HEATING AND COOLING NETWORKS In France, Dalkia operates more than 300 networks WHAT WE OFFER

| 7 Historical develoment of distrcit energy networks, to the modern day and into the future Source: « District Heating in cities – UNEP report »

| 8 The District Heating Network, the most modern and adapted toll to develop renewable energy solutions Source: « District Heating in cities – UNEP report » WASTE INCINERATOR CONNECTING SOURCES OF « FREE COOLING » CONNECTING RENEWABLE ELECTRCITY GENERATION CONNECTING RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS CONNECTING COMMERCIAL, HEATHCARE AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS CONNECTING INDUSTRIAL DEMAND ABSORPTION CHILLER CAPTURING WASTE HEAT COMBINED HEAT AND POWER (CHP) PLANT CAPTURING WASTE HEATING FROM SEWAGE AND WASTEWATER SOLAR THERMAL CONNECTING TO DISTRICT HEATING

| 9 The DHNs in the Balkans In the Balkans Most often, DHNs are existing but need important modernisation which can be done with a private partner through a concession, a privatisation, a lease or a management contract Modernisation of the production: more efficient, more green, less CO2 emission Modernisation of the network: replacement of pipes, substations… Modernisation of users installation: development of smart grid, energy efficiency measures, isolation of buildings… Report of the IFC (July 2015) showing good practices in the sectors for the Balkans an more specially for the Western Balkans: ”Unlocking the Potential for Private Sector Participation in District Heating” In Western Europe DHNs are used as a modern tool to develop energy efficiency, decrease CO2 emissions and integrate Renewable Energy Sources. Even in small towns, local authorities, with the support of the private sector and EU funds, are developing DHNs from scratch. Report of UNEP (2015) - Modernizing District Energy Systems Could Reduce Heating and Cooling Primary Energy Consumption by up to 50%: ”District Energy in Cities: Unlocking the Potential of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy”

| 10 WE HELP COUNTRIES MEET THEIR SUSTAINABILITY TARGETS RESPONSES OF DK ENERGY Serving communities, housing, industries, buildings, universities and healthcare centres:  Reducing energy footprint  Reducing greenhouse gas emissions (CO 2, SO x, NO 2, etc.)  Increasing the share of renewable energy within the energy mix DALKIA IN FRANCE  4.4 TWh in energy savings  2.4 MT of CO 2 equivalent avoided in 2014 i.e. the annual heating needs and CO 2 emission volume of the city of Amsterdam during a year. RENEWABLE ENERGY  Biomass  Heat from waste incineration  Heat recovered from industry  Geothermal energy  Biogas WHAT WE OFFER

| 11 11 NETWORK EXPERTISE CENTRE Expertise  Drawing up scenarios of optimised operation  Modelling using a Geographic Information System  Cost optimisation  Technical audit and recommendations Analysis  Technical dashboards (monitoring, reporting)  Data benchmark with other heating networks operated by DK Energy  Optimisation of the energy mix  Monitoring the load forecast, steering the distribution  Analysis of data from communicating substations  Encouraging operation performance OUR INNOVATION FOR DISTRICT HEATING NETWORKS WHAT WE OFFER

| 12 12 THE ENERGY SOURCING DESK Reliability and optimisation of energy sourcing THE DESC (DALKIA ENERGY SAVINGS CENTRE) A system of centralised control of energy performance in each region of France  Monitoring building energy consumption  Energy behaviour simulations on different types of buildings and continuous benchmark of real conditions  Management of action plans, prompt dispatch of skilled resources to restore or improve energy efficiency parameters  Monitoring market information and purchasing policy  Analysis of price changes and definition of business models  Negotiation of long term supply contracts  Contracts and Spot purchases OUR EXPERTISE FOR ENERGY SERVICES ON THE DHNs WE MANAGE WHAT WE OFFER

| 14 THE CONTEXT Brest set up an “energy-climate” policy to address the environmental footprint of the city and wider metropolitan area. This includes improving energy consumption. 85% of distributed heat is generated from waste heat recovery and renewable energy. 20,000 tons of CO 2 /yr emissions avoided. Brest has applied for European Energy Award (Cit’ergie label). DALKIA’S SOLUTION RESULTS DISTRICT HEATING NETWORK: BREST, FRANCE Optimising the use of various fuel sources: Incinerator (recover heat from the local waste boiler) Produce heat from woodchips Optimise the use of fossil fuels Build a local thermal storage facility to store heat Thermic storage Brest, France The network has doubled in two years WHAT WE OFFER

| 15 CRÉTEIL, France + 50 % geothermal energy production CHALLENGE RESULTS CHALLENGE Reducing energy costs Improving the environmental performance of the network 52% renewable energy on the network. Lower taxes on heat sales. SOLUTION RESULT A high temperature heating pump to achieve a 50 % increase in the production of geothermal energy and improve recovery from incinerators. DISTRICT HEATING NETWORK: IN CRÉTEIL - FRANCE WHAT WE OFFER
