9 Adrian Cutcliffe | Page #9 © 2008 Blackbaud Blackbaud Internet Solutions - trends Summary 1.Organisations are clearly placing more emphasis on the Internet as a relationship management and fundraising tool 2.Despite an overall decline in fundraising of approximately 9% worldwide, there was tremendous growth in online revenue (46%) over 2008 3.Organisations who wish to more proactively raise funds online need to be prepared to do so before Q4 as those three months represent 46% of all online fundraising income 4.For online appeals, the ability to target ask amounts results in a 38% increase over the average online donation (£47 vs. £34)
