1 US History Class Project
The ABC Book US History Class Project

2 What is the Project? You will have 26 pages – one page for each letter of the alphabet. In addition, you need a creative title sheet. Each page will be designated with one letter. For that page you come up with a topic about WWII that corresponds with that particular letter. Example: B is for Battle of the Bulge. You will write a paragraph for each letter. These sentences must be grammatically and structurally correct, cohesive, and historically accurate. These are NOT bullet points, but a complete PARAGRAPH. Cutting and pasting from the Internet will not be accepted. Put it in your own words!

3 What is the Project? You must have at least one picture for each letter. This picture must correspond with the topic. A bunch of pictures that have nothing to do with your topic will get you no points. You need to expect that this will take time outside of the classroom to create a great project. You will be awarded points on creativity and overall neatness. Do NOT turn in something that is not professional looking. This is a PROJECT. Take it seriously. You must PRINT this out and have it LOOK LIKE A BOOK. It may NOT be ed to me or handed in on a flash drive. PLAN AHEAD.

4 G Example Is for Guadalcanal
Guadalcanal was the first Japanese-held island invaded by the United States in its campaign to win the war in the Pacific. It was part of the strategy known as island-hopping.
