2. What To Do! Make a book that describes you
Use Positive Adjectives that start with each letter in the Alphabet A-Z
Illustrate each word with a picture that you think represents you and the word

3. What is an Adjective? For those of you who don’t know…
A word that describes something (in this case you)
not an Adjective an Adjective
Dog (n.) *Funny
Glitter (n.) *Handsome
Running (v.) *Brilliant
Laughing (v.) *Kind
Use a dictionary to check your words! If there is (adj.) next to it then you are good to go!

4. What Does Positive Mean?
A word that portrays you in a positive light.
Positive Words Not Positive
Friendly *Player
Creative *Gangsta’
Strong *Pimp
Entertaining * Baller
YUCK!
Aww…sweet!

5. Please do not ask me for words! You know yourself better than I do!
If you need a word look it up in the dictionary!
I REPEATE DO NOT ASK ME FOR WORDS!
This is your assignment not mine.

6. Cover Page Cover Page should say “ABC’s About Me”
Include Your Name on cover

7. Guide Lines
There needs to be 2 Letters per page (2 words on front 2 words on back)
Use one word per letter in the alphabet, not sentences, a WORD
Each word must have an illustration
Each book needs to be COLORFUL (that means FULL OF COLOR!)
Each word needs to be spelled correctly (again, make use of the dictionaries!)
Your book needs to be neat and not messy

8. Guide Lines
You will have 4 days in class to complete the Assignment so make sure that you are Pacing Yourself
Bring colored Pencils/Markers (no you may not use mine so don’t ask!)
This is to be done completely in class, no, you may not do it on the computer ( I am not grading on how great of an artist you are!)
I will provide you with 8 pieces of paper for your book, you will only need 7 for the whole book (the 8th is for if you mess up…that’s all you get!)
