1 Character Principle Characterization Semantic Mapping Dates

2 Character Principle A person’s work ethic tells a lot about them. While many people set lofty goals, they often forget about their grand plans. People often settle for less than their best because they are not willing to invest the time and energy into attaining their goals. Sometimes people believe that they deserve positions or recognition although they have truly not done anything to deserve it.

3 Character Principle Amelia’s parents did not have a thousand dollars to spare for her to take flying lessons. Sometime we do not appreciate things as much when they are given to us. When we have to work for things, we tend to appreciate them more. Flying a plane was certainly not an easy task. Amelia did not become successful merely through her grand dreams. She worked very hard to earn the money for her flight lessons, and then she showed great determination and grit as a pilot.

4 Character Principle How did Amelia earn the money for her flight lessons? What are some other examples from previous chapters of Amelia’s great work ethic? How did Amelia’s good work ethic prepare her for being a pilot?
