2. My Name is Tirsa Castillo, I am from the Dominican Republic.I came to the United State on May,03,2007 just about when i was going to turn 10. I have struggle a lot in life because of the English and i still have the problem with it. But that did not stop me. I learn how to deal with it and not paid attention to criticism. So here is this short story for those of you who stop trying just because some one told that no body is going to accept you because you are different.

3. Once upon a time there was a guy new to the city. He was so happy because he was going to meet new friends.

5. Pedro:'' Mom I am so bored at this house. Is there anything I could do? Mother: Young boy what have i told you about coming to the kitchen runing

6. Pedrito: I'm sorry I forgot? Mother: Any way what do you want from me? Pedrito: Can I go out side and play

7. Mother: Yes honey you may go but be carefull. Pedrito: ok mom i will

8. What a big house? Could my dream became true of finding friends to play with?

11. Hello there who are you? Pedrito: I knew here. I just wanted to know who lives in this amazing house?

13. Hello everybody This is pedrito. He is new here and doesn't have any friends yet.

14. Hey guys can i play with you? No you can't? But why? Because we don't like you.... look at you you are way to different than us.

15. Don't worry pedrito i could find you some other friends. But why don't they like me? I really don't know they are always like that with everybody.

16. I even wish i knew. But don't feel sad it may be because you are better than they are. But don't worry we will find some one.

19. Welcome to our house were you can make friends for you entire life. For real guys, you would not judge me for being different tham you said pedrito No why should we, they said that we should accept people for what they have inside not for the out side.

21. Mom!! I had a great time today i met so many friends I glad to hear that but what have i told you about running while am in the kitchen.

22. Yeah am sorry mom.But I really learn I lesson. You should not give up or change just because people don't accept you.You have to continue with you own personality because there will some one who will accept you just as you are.

23. I dedicate this short story to those people who give up on stuff or goals just because people wont accept. But in order to people accept them they have to accept them self first. thanks a lot to my friend Joanna for telling me not to give up for my dreams just because other people may not like me.
