2 2 Title of document The role of National VA Action Plans ► A tool for coordination, planning and monitoring the access to concrete services to insure assistance to victims of mines/explosive remnants of war ► An obligation in accordance with Cartagena and Vientiane Action Plan

3 3 Title of document Coordination is key  Because victim assistance should be undertaken in the context of existing services and domains, all relevant officials and experts must be engaged in developing responses to the needs of survivors  Pre-requisite: An inter-ministerial and multi stakeholder process
