5 GRADES TESTS + PROJECTS 50% 3 per marking period Usually 1 big project/test, 1 small project/test, and 1 current events test HW, QUIZZES, CLASSWORK 50% Scored out of 10 points Late work accepted

6 HOMEWORK Late work is accepted, but grade is reduced by 3 points (30%) Absent students have equal time to complete make up work [ex: out 2 days = 2 days to complete missed work]

10 History 8 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS –Each unit is driven by one or two open-ended questions. –All that we study is geared toward developing the answer. DAILY QUESTIONS –Instead of a formal written objective, I pose a question to the students at the start of each class – their job is to figure out the answer.
