2 www.tacticproject.eu Project Objectives Improving tools, methods and training for communities and society to better prepare for crisis TACTIC Online Training and Auditing Platform (TOTAP) Audit for organisations Results will be used to extract relevant information from the “good“ practice library to provide inspiration regarding the development of a communications strategy. Audit for communities Results will provide feedback for organisations so as to assist them in the development of their communications strategy. They will also be used to extract relevant information from the “good“ practice library on hazards and on how to prepare for them.

5 www.tacticproject.eu Key Outputs 1.Long-term Learning Framework 1.Audit tool 2.Education and communication best practices 2.Identify community needs (including their education needs) so as to make them more resilient to large scale and cross-border crises and disaster situations. 3.Provide recommendations to stakeholders for enhancing the preparedness of communities for large scale, cross-border disasters. 4.Inventory of existing good practices in community preparedness. 5.Development of reliable methodologies which will assist in the improvement of preparedness and the increase of resilience.
