8 Conclusions I  In each country an Address register is considered as one of key registers (exception is UK)  Some Address registers are in production, in some countries under development or semi- production run, nevrtheless all governments are paying big attention to Address Registers  Addresses have to be unambiguous, maintained, locatable and creating spatial relations

9 Conclusions II  Addresses should be available for citizens as well as for public administration bodies  Address registers have a big importance for disaster and risk managent, for emergency services  Mutual updating and compliance withother base registers and cadastre and land registry systems have to be ensured

10 Conclusions III  Legal framework for Addresses Registers is a must, obligatory use by public administration bodies in many countries  Important role of Land Administration Bodies, they are administrators of Address Registers or produce them with geoferencing of address points

11 Conclusions IV  Important role of partnership with municipalities (often play a role in updating) and with other governmental bodies in the framework of base (key) registers  Only on-line interconnection of base registers and their mutual compliance can ensured advantages for citizens and bodies
