3  Determined: Lance has livedstrong through cancer, he’s worked hard to stay positive during hard times and will be able to bring that to our nation, making the reforms needed.  Charismatic: He is good looking and a great speaker, appealing to any person. He has a natural talent of getting people’s attention and getting them hooked.  Passionate: He is eager to change and reform the government and bring our country to the next level. He believes our nation has potential to exceed even more.

4  Leadership: Was the Governor of Texas for 8 years and knows how to a leader of a large group of people. He knows how to stay calm under pressure and take control of situations.  Loyal: Lance is very truthful and speaks honestly about issues that are happening. He will not cheat the government and will always be there for the people.

5  Gay Marriage: Lance believes that any human has the right to choose who they love and want to spend the rest of their lives with, no matter the sex. He believes that homosexual couples, like heterosexual couples deserve the same marriage benefits.  Abortion: Lance believes in pro-choice. He believes that a women has the right to choose what she wants to do with her body. Although, there should be restrictions; 18 yrs or older or parent/guardian consent.

6  Education: Lance strongly believes in no child left behind. All students should have the right to be educated. There shouldn't be vouchers because they take away money from public schools. He also believes in both public and private schooling as your choice.  Gun Control: Lance believes that assault weapons should be banned. People in the United States should feel safe at all times. He believes that without these weapons then crime will go down.  Energy & Oil: Reduce our dependence on foreign oil and energy. We need to invest in alternative energy and our own oil. Supports the clean coal. He believes in cap-and-trade and the big tax break.

7  Health Care: Lance believes that everyone should have the right to a health care plan. No one should be denied the right to get their medical needs addressed.  War in Afghanistan: Lance believes that the war in Afghanistan is unnecessary and troops should be brought back to the U.S. as soon as possible. Violence is not the answer and we don’t need anymore of our men and women losing their lives. We should help Afghanistan reform their government and create peace.

8  Lance is going to stop in two different places in New Hampshire because that is where the first primary took place and Lance believes he can gain many votes in New Hampshire. New Hampshire is a “neutral state” but a little more Democratic.  The first place Lance is going to stop at is New Hampshire Crowne Plaza, in Naswa on 1-07. Lance will be speaking at a fundraiser for $60 per plate. Lance will be talking about the policies of gun control.  The other stop, the next day, 1-8, Lance will be making in New Hampshire is at the University of New Hampshire he is going to talk about education and the importance of politics to these young adults. This will just be Lance giving a speech.

9  Lance will also be talking in New York on January 23 and 24. He hopes he can gain the votes of such a popular democratic state.  His first stop will be Jumeirah Essex House in New York, NY. This will be a benefit dinner that will cost $150 per plate. In the speech Lance will talk about gay marriage.  The next morning Lance will go to Birch Hill Catering Hall in Albany and will making a short speech on gay marriage.

10  On February 15, Lance will be making a trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and at the Eagles stadium. The speech will be a fundraiser charging $5 at the entry and anyone is welcome. Pennsylvania is a Democratic state so Lance is hoping to win these votes. He will be talking about the energy and oil.  Fort Lauderdale, Florida 3-01. Fort Lauderdale Grande; he is going to talk about the Health Care Plan. He hopes to win many voted because Florida is a Democratic state but can sometimes be on the border of a Republican state. Lance believes if he speaks there that it will help his chances of winning. 3-15 – Iowa Lance is going to talk in Iowa because it is the first caucuses, and a slightly more Democratic state. He is going to speak at Zins Restaurant, and each table will cost $1000. He is going to talk about Health Care at this event.

11  Lance is going to speak in his own states twice. Lance knows that his home state normally votes Republican but he believes that he will be a strong enough candidate that he can appeal to his own state.  He will first be speaking to the students of the University of Texas, Austin, April 15. He will be speaking in the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, the home the Longhorns football team. Lance will be making a speech on education. This will just be a speech not a benefit.  April 18, Houston, Texas. Lance will be having a fundraising dinner for $100 per plate. His speech will be held at Americans Reception Hall. Lance will be talking about gun control and education.

12  An important speech that Lance often gave about The Health Care Plan during his election was-“ This is not the first time the nation health care reform has been brought up. It was first been brought the United States in by John Dingell Sr. in 1943. The idea for health care will not just be focused on the people on welfare, but will also be helping middle-class; not all jobs give health care benefits..”

13  Armstrong gave many speeches on the importance of education. Some of his speech was; “ The importance for every child to have the right to be educated is the most important right of a student. The students now are the adults of tomorrow. It is important to have strong education system, weather if be a private or a public school. No student should be left behind in our countries education system..”

14  At some of Lance’s campaign stops be made a speech about gun control. His speech consisted of, “Amendment II is not a safe right for the people to have. The right to own a gun that has the ability to harm people does now allow people to feel safe. Handguns that are not safe to be roaming around out country should be banned..”

15  Lance made the speech about Gay Marriage in New York, with the large group of diverse people be believed that would be a good stop to talk about gay marriage. In his speech he said, “ If a man and a women have the right to fall in the, a homosexual couple should have the right to love one another. A human can not decide whom they love, it just happens. Giving gay couples the right to be marriage and full benefits should be allowed..”

16  During the general elections as well as the primaries, Mr. Lance Armstrong is expecting to need a surplus amount of 525 million dollars to run.  Money will be accepted from PAC’s with donations set at a maximum of $200.  Most of the money brought in for the election will be accrued by individual donations in the range of $300-$2500, through both Lance’s website (ArmstrongToday.com) and sponsors such as Nike who has already donated 2 million dollars for the campaign.

18  After the Pennsylvania, Emmanuel Cloutier. dropped out of the democratic race.  Lance Armstrong had an imposing lead over Larry Badich.  The democratic nomination will be identified within a few weeks.

28  The Nation Convention for the Democratic Party will be located in Detroit, Michigan for this year.  Speeches during the convention will be given by former president, Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton and Chet Culver.  The convention will last 4 days.  On the 4 th day of the convention, after speeches were delivered and deliberation, Lance Armstrong was nominated by the Democratic Party. In Lance’s speech for acceptance, “ I can not express my thanks to everyone who has been a part of my electoral process. I now have the opportunity to lead our country in the right direction. I accept this as a privilege and honor as I will do my best to create success in our country...”
