9 What happens when you miss an exam? Your teacher will speak to you and send you an email to tell you about this absence. Your teacher will write a note in the portal to say you missed your exam. You have 3 days from the time you return to the college to bring a note to your teacher-if you have no note, then you will receive a zero grade for your test. Your teacher will tell you when you have to do your re-sit exam. If you miss the re-sit exam, you will have to bring a note for why you missed THIS exam. If you miss an exam more than once, you will be referred to the program chair.

10 What to do if you have plans and cannot go to the exam? If you know you are going to miss your exam (for example if you are getting married or if you are going to travel) you must tell your teacher BEFORE the exam.

11 What kind of note can I bring if I miss my exam? Medical note from doctor Death certificate copy (if someone died in your family) Passport copy if you were travelling Any other official note which is dated

12 iPads You should come to class with a fully charged iPad everyday. You should have the required apps downloaded on to your iPad (your teacher will give you a list). If you do not have an iPad or the required apps by day 3, then you will be given a warning. If you don’t have an iPad with all the apps by week 2, you can be dismissed.
