1. You will be given materials to create a timeline of key educational changes since 1945. You have 15 minutes to complete the task using scissors and glue. If you finish, read through the books in the sociology room and through your notes for revision purposes.

3.  You will be aware of the key changes that have taken place in the British education system since the end of World War 2.  You will understand the form of the UK education system and recognise some of the factors that have shaped it.

8.  To answer a question on this under examination conditions you will need to understand something about how the system of schools in Britain is organised and some of the reasons why it has developed in the way that it has.  Attempt the following question based on the notes that you have and your own further development and research. Try and spend 10 minutes on your answers. Outline and explain reasons for changes that have taken place in the education system. (10 marks)
