3. Guntersville is known for its great bass fishing but it is also a good place to hunt waterfowl.

4. More and more people are starting to use the lake to hunt every season. Some people oppose the use of the lake for hunting.

5. Problems and Goals Unwanted trash in the water Talk of banning hunting from the lake Hunters need to clean up, and shed some positive light on hunting.

6. Help secure the future of the river for the use of waterfowl hunting.

8. Organizations such as Ducks Unlimited and Pals and Guntersville beautification board will also be encouraged to join with the hunters.

9. This project is meant to change the minds of the ones who have a negative perspective of duck hunters.

10. Since this is not a project that the people we are trying to reach will participate in, we are relying solely on the news media to cover our progress.

13. There will be more work to be done at other sites on the lake. On this day, the other dates will be announced and the media can be informed of our plans.

14. Eric Masson is the founder of Al Ducks.com and he has contacts with local newspapers. He can get our ads for no charge. Pals will supply everyone with trash bags Eric Butler is the President of Guntersville Ducks Unlimited. He also works for the city of Guntersville and he will have the city provide the dumpster. The gas and boats that will be used will the provided by local hunters who will be using them to help clean up.

15. This can be a very successful project and will not be very costly.
