2. 2 Project Objectives: Research Goals –Develop methods to assess impact of disruptions to ground transportation network on evacuation planning. –Document requirements of a transportation module capable of addressing the 15 National Planning Scenarios (NPS). Research Transition Goals –Knowledge product (conference paper). –Initial case study for potential customer.

6. 6 Research Technical Plan: Assessed two dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) tools: Matsim and DTALite. Developing expertise in DTALite: –Ongoing work will identify: Strategy to incorporate NPS into transportation simulations. DTALite code modification required.
