STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE By the end of 2022, AMANDLA will have provided 20,000 vulnerable children and youth in South Africa’s 10 largest and most violent township areas with access to 10 SAFE-HUBS of holistic learning and development through a four programme system focusing on health, violence prevention, education, and employability. Slide 12 THE INAUGURAL SAFE-HUB IN KHAYELITSHA Foundation of the AMANDLA Safe-Hub Model After-School Programmes: every week from Monday to Friday for girls and boys (8-19 Years) between 15h00 to 20h00. Night Programmes: To respond to high levels of crime a night league is implemented for young men (16-35 years) Friday and Saturday night from 20h00 to 00h00.
