An interview can even take place over the phone

6 Preparation for the Interview  Successful interviews require preparation.  Since interviewers are able to sense how prepared a candidate is, it is crucial that you commit sufficient time and energy to this process so you are able to articulate your best qualifications

7 Before the Interview  Thoroughly research the organization and position  Internet (Company Website)  Networking  Make a List of Questions to Ask  Materials to Take with You  Copies of your résumé  Pen  Personal fact sheet for filling out an application

8 Before the Interview  Decide What to Wear  An outfit that does not distract from what you have to say  Be Prepared for Questions  Practice for the Interview  Mock Interview  Interview yourself in front of the mirror  Know Where to Go for the Interview
