1 Senior Project Do’s and Don’ts FOR VISUAL MEDIA ASSIGNMENT (DUE February 27 th )

2 Where to SAVE Flash drive Cloud storage CD/DVD How to SAVE Create a file titled “Sr. Project”

3 IMAGES Collect 75 appropriate images Save them in a folder titled “Images” Brainstorm: What could these images include?

4 IMAGE RULES NO SELFIES NO BATHROOM PICS NO ALCOHOL/DRUG RELATED IMAGES

18 You need a variety of images that represent YOU in the best possible way No repeat photos Keep the audience engaged

19 SONGS Collect a minimum of 3 songs that you would like to include in your Senior Project Save these songs in a new folder titled “Music”

20 SONG RULES Lyrics must NOT contain any vulgar language (teacher discretion - be safe rather than sorry!) No BLEEPS You may not use an ENTIRE song in your senior project (copyright laws) - keep this in mind

21 VIDEO CLIP You must include at least 1 video clip between 10 seconds-45 seconds in length Save this clip to a new folder titled “Video”

22 VIDEO CLIP RULES Must be school appropriate Must be relevant to your project Can be a home video Can be part of a published movie

23 Heads Up Your Sr. Project will have a THEME! You might want to start thinking about this Some of your final music selections will reflect this theme

24 REVIEW When is the Visual Media Assignment due? What options do you have in terms of saving your collected work for submission? When I open the folder titled “Sr. Project,” what will I find?
