7 Photo Story Basics: Step 1 Getting Started 1.Open Photo Story 3. 2.Select “Begin a New Story” 3.Click Next.

8 Photo Story Basics: Step 2 Importing Your Photos or Pictures Files 1.Click “Import Photos.” 2.Find the folder with your photos 3.If you want to select specific pictures in your folder, use the Ctrl Key.

13 Photo Story Basics: Step 5 Narrate your Photos and Customize Motion 3. Press to Record. 4. Click to stop the recording. Optional: Click to redo the recording. Optional: Click to redo the recording. “Sound Hardware Test Image. 1. Select the photo you would like to narrate. 2. Type in words you wish to say to help while you narrate. 5. Preview the recording.

14 Photo Story Basics: Step 5 Narrate your Photos and Customize Motion 1. Specify where you would like the photo to start and end. 2. Preview. 4. Click to go to the next photo. 3. Save your work.

15 Photo Story Basics: Step 6 Add Background Music 2. Add your own non-Copyrighted mp3 files here. 2. Or add customized music from the program. When you click this button the box on the right pops up. 3. Preview your story with the music added. 1. Select the photo where you would like the music to start. Change the genre, style, mood, intensity, and tempo of the music here. Press “Play” to just preview the music in this box.

16 Photo Story Basics: Step 6 Add Background Music Change Volume here for your entire video. 4. Add many different songs to your selection.

17 Photo Story Basics: Step 7 Save your Project 1. This saves your file as a Windows Media file (.wp3). 2. Select where you would like your file to be saved. Default setting for saving your file and playback on your computer is video size: 640 x 480. However if you would like to upload to the Internet, you should click “Settings” and save the file as 320 x 240.
