 70 percent of the world is water.  97 percent of it is Saltwater.  In dead sea there is 33.7 percent of salt.  That is why you can float in the dead sea.

 Average low 20-25 degrees. In winter time.  Average high 80-85 degrees. In Summer time.

 Common plants are kelp, Seaweed, and Seagrass.  Kelp is a type of marine brown algae.  Kelp is like seaweed accept that they grow in different habitats.  Seaweed is a type of algae that grows in marine habitats.  It has also been harvested for centuries by many coastal peoples who use it for its health benefits and delightful culinary properties.  Seagrass is like regular grass except it grows under Water.  It also has to adapt to saltwater but it does not take a Long time.  There are many types of seagrass and they often grow In the medow which looks like grasslands.

 Common are Sharks, Jelly Fish, and Stingrays.  Sharks are meat eaters, not man eaters.  Sharks have a strict diet and it also depends on what kind of Shark it is.  They eat all kinds of other fishes even other Sharks.  Jelly Fish common because always washing up on shore and a lot of times close to land.  They can not move themselves ocean moves them.  Jelly fish are carnivores.  Stingrays live shallow waters.  Stingrays spend most time mostly hiding in the sand.  Stingrays bodies are supported by cartilage rather than bones.

 Non common are the Scorpaenidae, and the Angelfish.  The reason Scorpaenidae are not common is because they are farther out than normal fish that you see very close.  Scorpaenidae is also know to be called the lionfish.  They multiply quickly.  People are starting to eat.  Have a problem with them in Florida.  Angel Fish are brightly colored bony fishes.  They are also called Pomacanthidae.  Angel fish eat high quality flake food or Pellet food.

 All these animals have a reason they eat what they eat.  Without the food chain none of these animals would exist.  It is very important that we don’t pollute the water so the animals will keep living.

 Public, industrial and irrigation water supply can effect the creatures in Saltwater.  Navigation/transport.  Cooling water for power plant.  Humans clean lakes a lot of times.  Humans try to protect environment.

 Learned a lot of new things.  Had a lot of fun doing it.  Glad I got assigned this Saltwater.  I give credit to Lucy, Will E., Claire, and CJ.
