2.  Ractopamine is a kind of chemical, which is added to animal food so as to help livestock grow lean meat. Its toxicity is less than the chemicals having the same function. Used in legal amounts, it doesn’t harm our bodies in a short time. Nevertheless, we cannot promise if it will hurt humans for a long while.

3.  It’s used in pigs’ food, and Ractopamine Hydrochloride is added to Paylean. U.S.A, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, and so on, allow to use Paylean, but it is banned in China and most of countries in European Union.

4.  It’s used in cattle feed, and it’s only used in America, Canada, Singapore, and Indonesia.c.Topmax It’s a kind of chemical fed to turkeys.

5. Eating much of it might cause poisoning symptoms. For example, nausea, dizziness, palpitations, and so on.

6.  On March 29, 2012, the chairman of the EU Animal Welfare Scientific Committee, Donald M. Broom, was invited to Taiwan and gave a speech, in which he mentioned that Ractopamine did not result in cancers, but it contained genetic toxicity. Using it does not benefit consumers but manufacturers. The European scholars also said that Ractopamine would stimulate the production of adrenalin, and that animals would produce more water and less protein if they eat it. 

7.  It’s a kind of chemicals, which is one of materials in plastic, and it is harmful to human beings. It cannot be eaten or used in food processing. It also caused some serious incidents. Eating it for a long time might cause the damage to sexual dysfunction, kidney stone, and cancers. Adding it to milk would precipitate because it is tasteless and white. a. In 2007, pet Food Contamination events suspect to increase the wheat flour and Rice protein powder which imported from china in 2006 have Melamine will cause the death of pets with Renal failure.

8.  b. The contaminated milk powder from China in 2008: Sanlu Company added Melamine in the milk powder. It caused babies who had had it to get kidney stone. This incident also affected other countries, including Taiwan, where disused the milk products and related manufactures from China.

9.  In September 11, 2008, the Chinese scholars introduced that Melamine was a chemical material. Because it contains a lot of nitrogen atoms which can pretend to be high protein food, it can make the quantity of the protein higher when the product are tested.
