1  All work that is incomplete (including quizzes) must be completed by the time I enter progress reports or it will be permanently zeroed.  You will be given today to work on your essay. If you do not utilize your time properly the paper will be due today at the end of class; otherwise it will be due at the start of Wednesday’s class. You may submit it electronically, but it must be submitted before the start of class.  You will be allowed to work with 1 other person from your class. That person must be present today. I reserve the right to alter or disband your group at anytime I deem necessary.

2  30 pts  Follow the directions and carry them out to the best of your ability.  Style of writing persuasive  Keys to success:  Pick a position  Pick 3 events that support your position  Write the introduction  Make sure you explicitly (clearly) tie in the event and your position of hero or villain.  Write a conclusion tying together your main ideas and position.
