2. The MINISTERS of Marriage The groom and the bride are the ministers of marriage. They minister the Sacrament of marriage to each other! The priest or bishop asks for and receives their vows. Some bishops share this ministry with their deacons, too. Slide 2 of 6

4. The FORM of Marriage A person playing the priest part says “Since it is your intention to enter into marriage, join your right hands and declare your consent before God and His church.” Slide 4 of 6

5. The FORM of Marriage Then you place your hand on the Plasma Globe and say “I, (name), take you, Plasma Globe, to be my Plasma Globe. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.” Slide 5 of 6

The GRACE of Marriage Unites the husband and wife as truly one Gives the husband and wife a real share in the love between Christ and His Bride, the Church Gives them strength to live marriage and family life well Notice that the rings are nice but they don’t make a man and woman into a husband and wife---the vows do!
