4. The Integumentary System Skin, hair, and nails protect other tissues Keeps water in, foreign particles out (think band-aids) Helps with sense of touch Regulates temperature

5. The Cardiovascular System Distributes blood to other organs Made of the heart, blood vessels, and blood Blood carries oxygen Oxygen poor  lungs Oxygen rich from heart  everywhere else

6. The Lymphatic System Returns fluids to blood vessels and helps get rid of bacteria and viruses Takes fluid from between cells  blood The spleen and tonsils are parts of the lymphatic system

9. The Urinary System Removes waste from your blood and regulates body fluids We need to get rid of all the water we take in Kidneys filter our blood

10. The Nervous System Receives and sends electrical signals throughout the body Central: brain and spinal cord Peripheral: everything else (nerves) Regulates thinking, sensing, feeling, movement, heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, breathing, balance, etc.
