24. 6/1/201624 A QUESTION OF AUTHORITY E. APOSTLES TO BE GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. This final authority granted to Jesus Christ was delegated to the apostles so that the world could know the will of God. Jesus delegated to the apostles the authority to bind and loose. However, the apostles could only bind and loose on earth what had already been bound and loosed within the will of God. (Matthew 16:19)
