6 5 SQAS 2011 Questionnaires The SQAS executive committee decided to stop the SQAS module for RTC maintenance workshops and fully support the ERA initiative on "Certification of Entities in Charge of Maintenance". Main reasons: very low number of assessments, very technical topics, no real qualified assessors, good alternative. SQAS RTC Workshop

7 6 SQAS 2011 Questionnaires Both assessments are possible by using existing questionnaires. Impact on logistics safety is present. No other (mutual) assessmentsystem is present. Intermodal terminals (core + part TS) Specific attestation Railforwarders (core + part Rail) No specific attestation

16 SQAS 2011TS Major changes Fully integrated subcontractors (drivers/ operators) are considered (in the evaluation system) to be OWN personnel. Consequence : - All topics which reflects to own personnel also includes FIS such as training, communication, incident investigation, … 15

Active communication between LSP and consignor if non-standard activities are asked for to be done by the driver such as : - drawing samples - unload directly in IBC’s, - working on top of the vessel without proper fall protection. 17
