2 Email Email was our groups first choice when we picked the 4 communication methods. This method was very easy since we had given each other our SFU emails at the start of the lab. The message got back to the person who started in about 6 minutes time. Everybody copied and pasted the message or forwarded the message to the next person in the chain.

3 Txt Msging The second method on our list was Text Messaging. This method did not turn out very well since it took a very long time for the first person to text the message out. Even if he did get the message sent there was a break in the chain because one person in our group didn’t have a cell phone.

4 MSN Our third method was using MSN messenger. This method would have been the fastest way to get the message across to everyone, but we didn’t have each other added on msn right away. So after a bit of time we got everyone added and it took about 6 minutes to get back to the person who first sent it.

5 Facebook Our forth method was using Facebook. We cheated a bit because we were finding each other on Facebook during the free time we had after the previous methods. Facebook took about 5 minutes to get the message around after we confirmed each other as friends. It was quick and easy using Facebook after everyone was added and confirmed. One problem with Facebook is that it’s hard to find people by just using their names since many others share the same name, but luckily you can trace people down using their email address.
