Adding a picture is as easy as browsing for the picture file on your computer – just make sure to use a “.jpg”, “.png”, or “.gif” file.

16. 18. Your “Home” page has your “News Feed”. This is where you will be able to see any updates your “friends” have made to their profiles. Also, when your “friends” log into their accounts, they will see any updates you have made to your profile in their news feeds.

17. 19. “Status Updates” are very popular in Facebook. This is where you can tell all your friends what you are up to at any given moment. Headed out of town and want to connect with old friends? Change your “status” to indicate which city you will be in and ask if anyone is available to meet up. You will be able to comment on your “friends’” status updates and they can comment on yours. Note: Witty status updates are appreciated by experienced Facebook-ers. Be creative!
