3.  World War II finished in 1945. The Axis of Power ( Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, Hungry, Romania, Bulgaria and Japan ) were defeated (beaten) by the Allies (US, Australia, France, Poland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Brazil Canada, Czechoslovakia, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, South Africa, Yugoslavia).

5.  As a result of World War II the Allies developed a fear of communism and the Axis of Power developed a fear of the anti- communist countries. This became known as the COLD WAR. No physical war broke out but it was a period of political conflict and military tension between the two major powers. USA and SOVIET UNION.  Can you locate these two countries on the map.
