1. Welcome Back Welcome back! We certainly missed you. Today’s morning work is brief…You will share what you did during the holiday in a 6 word memoir. A MEMOIR is a story about you! But you can only use six words in your memoir-no more, no less-but it must summarize your spring break. You can write more than one, but can only share your best one. 2. Dear Poets, Our poems are on display at the Robbinsville Library. I am so excited that you can share your passion for poetry with the citizens of Robbinsville. Your assignment today is to write a “I Can’t Write a Poem” poem. On your desk is a mentor poem to give you some ideas. All you have to do is make a list of creative excuses or complaints you might make when I ask you to write a poem. If you can’t think of any, make them up. Have fun!
