6 I need an appointment for routine services. Call (909) 274-4400 or go to the Health Center Bldg. 67B first level. Always have students ID ready. Choose from available appointment times that are offered to you. I need a physical exam for a Mt. SAC academic program or I need an annual female exam. Appointments must be made in person at the Health Center Bldg. 67B first level. Bring student ID and cash for lab fees. Call ahead for estimated fees. No checks or credit cards accepted. Failure to do so will result in a "NO-SHOW" fee. You may leave a message on our voicemail, 909-594-5611 ext 4400. What if I am late to my appointment?  Those who arrive late may or may not be seen, depending on the Health Center's schedule. A late arrival may also result in a "NO-SHOW" fee. Can I bring someone with me?  In most cases, family and friends must wait in the Health Center lobby. Please do not bring children with you. Children may not be left in the lobby unattended. Please arrange for child care accordingly. Can my family or friends who do not attend Mt. SAC receive services?  Please click here to see who is eligible to receive services.click here to see who is eligible to receive services What does it cost to receive health services?  It is free to see the doctor, nurse practitioner, nurse, chiropractor, and counselor. Low-cost medication and lab tests are offered. You are advised to bring $30 for any anticipated laboratory tests. Fees for physicals and routine laboratory tests, such as Pap smears, must be paid in advance. ONLY CASH IS ACCEPTED How much time should I allow for an appointment?  We strive to keep everyone on time; however, there are times when emergencies occur. Please allow at least thirty minutes to one hour for each visit. 11 Do I need health insurance in order to use your services?  No. Students DO NOT need health insurance to access our services. Utilization of our services is paid through the student health fee. What if I am under 18?  If you are under 18 years of age your parents or guardian must consent for your care, except in special circumstances. For more information, call the Health Center and ask to speak with a nurse. Where do I park?  The closest student parking areas are LOT F and LOT H. Parking in the meter and visitor stalls is not recommended. Do not park in the employee parking stalls, you will be ticketed. Employees may park in the lot behind the Student Health Center (67B), LOT D or the north corner of LOT F.LOT F and LOT H What is a two-step TB test?  The two-step TB test may be required by your program. The two-step TB test involves two TB skin tests, one to three weeks apart. The two-step TB test takes 3-4 appointments to complete.
