7.  Look for materials at Web sites that focus on more scholarly resources ◦ Pay attention to Domains (.edu,.gov,.org) ◦ Google : Google Scholar, Google Books, etc. Google  Narrow searches by being very specific ◦ Key words ◦ “Quotation marks”

8.  Look for articles in sources that require certain standards to be met before publication  Consult “Five Criteria for Evaluating Web Pages”

9.  Who is the author of the site?  Who provides the site?  How current is the information?  Is the information accurate?  Is the information suitable for your purposes?

10.  Books and articles requested from other libraries  Submit request to librarian at least 2 weeks in advance
