Assembly Incorrect 1 st articles Overheated “burn-in” by vendor on 200 boards Poorly tuned initial automated optical inspection by vendor Wrong solder flux on several hundred boards All problems addressed by vendor Production has finally reached steady rate with consistent quality Much effort on 14 th floor: Lou Dal Monte, Merle Watson, Charlie Nelson
