7 Grading Student’s progress will be monitored using the following scale: Level 3+ = Exceeds Standards-In addition to the 3, makes applications and inferences beyond expectations. Level 3 = Meets standards Consistently and independently Level 2 = Progressing The student is making progress toward meeting the standard. Level 1 = Limited progress or does not meet standards. *Please review your child’s work that is sent home each week. *Report cards will be sent home at the end of every 9 weeks. *Progress reports will only be sent home (at 4 1/2 weeks) for students who are showing limited or minimum progress toward meeting the standard. Informal Grading Students will complete many assignments that are not assessed for a formal grade. These assignments are done for practice in preparation for the formal grading. A check plus on an assignment means that the student was able to complete the assignment independently and with few mistakes. A check mark means that the student needs to review the work at home. A check minus means the student needs additional assistance to master the standard.

10 Daily & Weekly Routines  Tardies/Absences  School begins at 7:50  Excessive tardies will result in a call from the county office. At 5 tardies the county will call  Parents will be notified at 3, 7, and 10 absences  Change of Transportation  Written Notification Prior to 1:30  No check-outs after 1:30  Lunch with your child – picnic tables (your child only) Prices: $2.15 – lunch and $3.15 – parent lunch  Special Schedule-7 day rotation  Check Monthly Calendar
