Troop 69 Parent Volunteer Opportunities Scouts Run the Troop Troop 69 is a “Boy Run” Troop –Leadership positions elected by the Scouts The leadership makes up the Primary Leadership Council (PLC) for the Troop Decision making body for the Troop –Planning for events done by the PLC Camp Out events, dates Weekly meeting organization Events held during the meetings –New elections for Leadership every 6 months

Troop 69 Parent Volunteer Opportunities Adults Make the Troop Work To thrive the Troop needs many Active Adults Time allotted is not substantial –Many hands make light work With many adult volunteers jobs are easily managed! –Best to have 3-6 Adults assisting with every area –Reduces work-load on any 1 or 2 Adults –Events happen more easily –No one feels they “must” participate at every event More fun is had by all Participants –Adults –Scouts
