3. * The people in her family were her Dad, Mom, and brother. * She got married to Barack Obama. * Michelle and Barack had 2 kids, named Malia and Natasha. * Michelle’s Dad had a disease called Multiple Sclerosis, but he still went to work for his family.

4. * She was the first African American to be the First Lady. * She reads books to kids. * She made important changes to the lunch menus in schools.

5. * Her Aunt and sisters were slaves. * She skipped 2 nd grade because she was so smart. * Michelle Obama often sits in a private room in the White House. * Michelle writes her own speeches and does not read from notes. * She has a dog named Bo.
